ZoomNotes App revisa

Excelente

En mi opinion la mejor app para notas he probado gran variedad de apps como esta, pero sin duda la mejor es zoomnotes. 100% recomendada. Ademas los desarrolladoras trabajando en la mejora de la app continuamente. Gracias.

The only way to go if you use a digital planner

I’ve been going back and forth for years for digital planning, and THIS IS BY FAR, HANDS DOWN, THE ONLY APP THAT MAKES SENSE FOR IT. Trust me… I e tried it all. And have all the old and new note apps. This is the best ever. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but if you get through it, IT IS GOLD.

Issues still

Still having an issue where if I zoom in and write a bit then the writing looks like vectors instead of smooth writing. Makes the document almost unusable when it happens. It is even worse when I zoom in even at just 200x…. Amazing app if you don’t have this issue. Will update review to 5 stars whenever this is fixed. I have already made the developer aware of this.

incredible!!

i have tried many note-taking apps in the past, but always found myself frustrated by a lack of actually useful features, and a push towards adding more while ignoring what is still missing. on the other side of things, you get feature-rich apps but with unresponsive developers. zoomnotes is neither of these things. it has an amazingly wide berth of tools at your disposal, so it's useful for both planning or notetaking (personally, i'm a notetaker). this has some of the widest selection of tools and settings and has made notetaking a breeze, even if there's a bit of a learning curve to get over first. for example, i love to make diagrams but always wasted so much time trying to align everything with other apps; zoomnotes is the first app i've used with an alignment function and my notes look even better! that being said, with as many features as zoomnotes has, i really think that more keyboard shortcuts would be a phenomenal addition. even just text shortcuts like command+B would be greatly useful, but shortcuts to switch tools would be very powerful and make it much simpler. maybe even customizable shortcuts for your favorite tools?

Great for digital planning

Makes planning in my digital planner fun and limitless! Way better than goodnotes 5 in my opinion:

Outstanding app

App has been around for years and gets lots of updates which keep on making it better and better.

Been using the infinite white/black board for years. Plus Videos

Not sure if it was a creator, but they basically said or the way this apps works is if you could think it, it could be done. Which makes this limitless. I’ve been doing all types of gym videos/training, home organizing, and pretty much everything else in my life. And for as much videos, I put in one whiteboard or in one file it’s crazy that it doesn’t go slow Ever. I will be using this app for the rest of my life, you can count on that..

Continuous enhancements/Awesome App

While it takes some time to understand how to use for digital planning, the investment is well worth it. Spectacular support and developer has consistently demonstrated a commitment to ensure continuous improvements and enhancements!

So Very, Very Good

The best thing about Zoomnotes is that I can adapt to my work style rather than the other way round. It does so many things, all of it customizable, that it has made it possible for me to energize the way I plan and take notes. It can save text and pens styles (big timesaver), put documents inside other documents, add videos, tables, outlines, it has an infinite canvas, a map, I can design a planner with links and tabs with it, and work with images. Oh! And you don’t have to go to read-only mode for links to work, I love it! I even find its retro look endearing. At first I hesitated to try this app because the most common complain I heard about it, is that it has a steep learning curve. That is true, it takes time to learn, but it is simple, and you don’t have to learn it all before you can start using it. Pick and choose what to use now and let the rest surprise you as you go. The developer is dedicated. He responds promptly to every question, need for help, and takes every feature request into immediate consideration.

Close to being perfect..

I enjoy using zoomnotes and this is one of the best note taking apps i have used. It has literally all the features and customisation needed for a note taking app. But the clumsy and buggy User Interface is the only problem here. I would kindly make an appeal to the developers so that they focus on the ui more and improve the navigtion, icons and all sort of things in the ui. It will become the best of the best if the ui is improved. Please please please if u see this review I really want the ui to improve so that it becomes best note taker for a lot of people out there. The ui is the only thing holding me back from using ZN

Great App

Let me start by saying the support team for this app is top notch. I ran into a couple issues that were frustrating, but the support team was very responsive and helpful for any issues I had encountered. If you want a truly amazing app with features that no other app has, ZoomNotes is for you.

Best note app

I've tried all of the note taking apps out there. This is by far the best for use on the iPad and cross platform to other Apple devices. No, it doesn't have the prettiest interface or a built-in sticker/document/template gallery, but you can add all of those that you could possibly want. Some of the ways that this app outweighs the competition is in its customization options to the user interface, app settings, and more. Additionally, the developer is extremely receptive to feedback/suggestions with quick updates to any bugs (check version history if you don't believe me!). The main downside is the time it takes to learn the ins/outs to this app but there are a lot of forums where people (and dev) assist users with questions or issues and many people create tutorials on YouTube to follow. And the other thing I love - the "help info" next to almost each setting and subsetting so you can remember what it does! Spend some time learning the app, building the settings to your needs, and creating the papers/templates/stickers/etc and you have the only app you ever need. Also want to point out that this has iCal and Apple reminders integration which you can use to make your own planner pages or track to do's etc; seriously the best solution in practically all use cases.

Still my favorite

Update 11/11/24: I went to GN 6 went it released and just came back this month, I always keep coming back because of all the amazing features GN is missing. After going back and forth between ZoomNotes and goodnotes, I definitely decided for ZoomNotes, love the many features it has, but layering is my fav and my handwriting is better in this app. And they keep updating it with cool stuff often Update 01/2023 still my favorite, I genuinely gave GoodNotes another try, but it’s so much easier and faster to create and decorate my layouts, besides that I can create layers, or lock elements so they don’t move, now I link some pages with others for easy access… so much funciones that ZN have…..

Best notes app hands down!!

This app is amazing! It’s like Goodnotes and procreate had a baby!!

The best & well thought out Note Taking App available!

This review. Is long over due. This has absolutely everything you need … learn it … . & when you do all the other note apps will disappoint. I’ve been using this app for the past 4 years & appreciate the well thought out options that are available for the end user!

ONCE WAS My Go-To for Hand Notes and Sketches

Pro: Wealth of features. Cons: Exhaustive option choices; cumbersome, overly artistic, and thereby fully distracting UI; and frustrating, sometimes inconsistent boxes in boxes approach to document management. What was once my go-to is now relegated to a has-been. Ultimately, the UI look and behavior in ZoomNotes has made using it too painful. The recent overhaul adds a much needed feature but removes none of the UI pain (in some ways making it only worse). I’ve moved on to an app with comparable base features but with a crisp, effective UI design and behavior. Five stars for features. Three off for UI pains.

No tooltip help = user becomes clueless.

I just downloaded after paying $7.99, used it for couple of hours. During this time I somehow created Pages couple of them by mistake and then trying to remove them which I couldn’t but then I ended up deleting my main page which took me about 45 minutes to figure out how to change fonts and this and that and get one page going. This may be powerful, but it is definitely not user-friendly. I’m going to download good and then try that. I did use it once during trial and end. It was much better than this. I wish there was a way to get my $7.99 back. This application requires a lot of work to make it user-friendly, there was a menu option on the left side somehow I don’t know what I did or it just disappeared. I did not find any way to bring it back so that was a headache things also added on its own maybe because I’m putting my palm on the iPad as I’m typing and it opened up a new menu option and then I had some issues with that too trying to close it.

Amazing

I heard there was a steep learning curve, but I had the app integrated and better than my old system in about 2 hours. I have spent 3 years building my old system, so that was crazy to me. Love the app more every day

Best Handwriting app there is!

I’ve compared many apps over the last 6 years or so, and I always come back to this one. The calendar integration and layer (especially the master layers) make this app amazing! The pens are comfortable and look good. The pen pressure sensitivity is adjustable (which is really nice, I need mine turned off).

Waste of time and money

I wish this had a trial period so I didn’t regrettably spend $8 on this for my iPad. I wanted a digital planner I could write on with my Apple Pencil that would also sync to my phone calendar. I also wanted it in a week view with the hours divided up quarterly, a bit specific and difficult to find. I read some good reviews for how customizable this app is so I gave it a sho. I had tried out a few other apps that all ended up being disappointing or frustrating in some way. Boy is this thing time consuming to set up and not at all intuitive. The UI is extremely outdated and the graphics are from 15 years ago. The developers clearly didn’t spend any budget on a graphic/UI designer. After messing with it for much longer than I have time for, I managed to set up something clunky and rudimentary. The built in generator appeared to have a lot of customizations but was actually quite limited. I managed to get my weekly view planner but some of the text were squished together and there’s no way to modify what you generated. There’s no way to add lines between the hours, change the size of reminders box, etc. The result ended up being no better than just looking on the calendar app, actually worse since it was ugly (and this is even after I changed some colors). After doing more research I realized if I wanted something better than this, I would have to spend literally hours on designing and setting up my own template. As a trained graphic designer, that appeals to part of me. But as a student and working professional, I don’t have time for that! Looking at my calendar (the Apple one and not the Ms Paint version generated by this app), I don’t have time in the near future to just carve out a day to build a planner from scratch. I’m willing to spend much more than $8 for something that is actually visually appearing and functional. This is not it.

Awesome app

This app has so much potential. There is a learning curve, but well worth it. I love, love love this app. It is so much better than goodnotes. I just wish they had it available for android users. I have a iPad, a Samsung phone, and a surface laptop. Am I the only one that doesn’t use Apple across all platforms?

Disappointed

I consider myself pretty tech savvy, patient, appreciative of multiple tools… this app is ridiculous. I patiently tried setting up a planner, and after multiple deletions and complicated directions, I give up!

Buggy

Where are the updates?! Wow, I am barely able to use this app without it crashing constantly! All of these awesome features are useless when the app is so buggy. So frustrating! Going back to Goodnotes!

One thing missing

I’m enjoying this app over Goodnotes. Particularly where the toolbar is located. My beef is that I thought when I DL the app to my phone and ipad, it would all sync and I can read/access from multiple devices. It appears it does not and that’s the only thing lacking for me.

Update to review written 3 YEARS AGO!

I thought I’d take time to update a previously written review given there have been so many updates to both ZoomNotes & iOS. I still rely on ZN 99.9% of the time. The *only* 2 ways I still use GN is 1) for exclusive GN file purchases & 2) for college digital textbooks (it’s easier for me to have both screens open during note-taking & highlighting things on the other app while taking my handwritten notes in ZN. I like many of the features that ZN has, from advanced image editing (opacity, precise sizing, etc) to the layers feature & page turning capabilities. I can create my own digital notebooks & planners without the standard practice of using Keynote to add links & such. Copying links, repeating text, & more can be done in literally just a few taps, without copy-pasting over & over…you just create a new layer for whatever you want to have the same on all pages (like page tab labels) & then select the option to copy current layer to all pages! Boom. Easy peasy. The customer service is fantastic. Join the Facebook group. Get tips, tricks, inspiration, & direct responses from the creator quickly. Have a suggestion? Tell Ed. Something acting wonky? Ed is so helpful. And here’s a great tidbit: IT’S NOT SUBSCRIPTION-BASED! You get all the features, all the customer support, & a great community all for one price! I wasted so much money on other apps that never quite worked the way I needed.

Absolutely love this app but …

I have been using this product for over three years now and overall, I do really like it. I like this better than most other notetaking apps, especially because the program allows you connect directly to Google Calendar and Apple calendar and it will automatically sync an update when appointments are added to your planners. This is absolutely excellent and has been one of the main reasons why I’ve continued to use this even though instructions and demonstrations are definitely lacking for this UI. However, I’m really interested to see if they’re going to incorporate the new tools and techniques for the Apple Pencil Pro as Goodnotes has. N As physical challenges are becoming more limiting at the store costs are incredibly useful for me and I’m truly hoping that ZoomNotes comes out with something similar to what Goodnotes has for the Apple Pencil Pro.

Powerful planning app

This is the only app I could find that met all my needs for a personalized digital planner that syncs with my calendar. I was a big paper planner user before, but finally gave in to digital planning because it was just too cumbersome to have to copy everything from my google calendar to my paper planner. This app allows me to have the feel of a paper planner (using Apple Pencil ) while keeping track of all of the classes and appointments that I add to my digital calendar. It took some time to learn, but I love how customizable it is and that it is a one-time payment. I only wish it had an Android and pc version, but overall I highly recommend it.

New review — steep learning curve but cool

I bought ZoomNotes so that I could sync my calendars and reminders to a pretty digital planner. I read that it had a steep learning curve, but I didn’t really appreciate HOW steep it was. Trying to figure out how to set up this app has been kind of a nightmare and I gave some very low scored reviews earlier in my frustration, after more than a week of trying to get it to work. Today I finally took the time to just watch Wendaful’s tutorial on how to set up ZoomNotes and really concentrate on setting it up, and I’m now getting it to work properly, so it’s turning into what I want it to do.

Still Learning

ZoomNotes has a serious learning curve. I have gotten a few things and others things I want, I YouTube. Worth It!

Lots of options! Been using for years!

Very versatile app. I import forms, Mark them up, send to Google Drive.

Just keeps getting better with every update

Nancy Babb on YT really helps to learn how to make your planner gorgeous. It’s like sitting down with your grandma and she’s so excited to show you the new things she learned to do in the best app ever. If you’re used to GN, ZN is really overwhelmingly customizable. It really is a blessing but a curse until you figure out how to do the things you’re used to in other apps. Don’t worry, Gran Nancy can help you out!

Good but

There is a bit of a learning curve but I’m enjoying the app. Its amazing what all it can do.

Best note taking app

This is a great app. I use it for daily digital planning. It has the most features of anything out there and I can do everything I need to in this app. The best part is the developer. Ed is very interactive with the users and listens to suggestions for improvements, and most of the time exceeds what is asked of him.

So many features!

This is a great app. The learning curve can be steep, but it is well worth learning

Lag on ios 17.4 but well on Lite version (Apple deliberate interference)

It was a perfect note taking app with unique features . Im personally using it over the last 10 years, but since late iOS 16 and now 17 there’s considerable lag in zooming, switching between tools and even closing a document. Sometimes even a whole page from a document is deleted if I get out of the app without closing the document. I thought it is because of my old iPad second generation, but these annoying bugs are present also on my iPhone 14 Pro. Works fine if use guided access, and completely perfect on Zoomnote Lite. I think apple is complicit.

Won’t sync between devices on cloud

The program is more powerful and customizable than GoodNotes; GoodNotes is easier to learn initially though. There are some glitches with saving data; something’s disappear when device closes, but restarted like 30 seconds later. The biggest issue is the failure to sync appropriately between devices (iPad and iPhone) from cloud (I’ve tried Google drive, iCloud and Dropbox) despite appropriate set up. It will only sync one time at the time of creation of the link, but not update thereafter. This is a substantial issue.

Best App In The Store!

Update: I am now 100% certain that there is Nothing that can’t be done using Zoomnotes! I use it exclusively. And it keeps getting better with each new release! Don’t listen to any neigh sayers, if they don’t like it they didn’t take the time to learn it. It takes a few days , but so worth the effort! It replaces at least 10 other apps that specialize in things that ZoomNotes includes as part of the package...from note taking to presentation to Transparency... on and on. Seriously, it is THE BEST APP AVAILABLE PERIOD!

Very difficult

Very difficult

App only opens to browser with no way to close it

As the title says, upon launch, the app opens to it’s website using its internal browser with no was to close the window, making it impossible to access documents. Please fix.

Amazing App!

This app does so much! There IS a lot to learn, but well worth the time. I watched many YouTube videos and the have internal videos. So far, best app ever! Love it!

can’t recommend any more

When I use zoomnotes, it from time to time sends a reminder for reviewing. Every time I see it, I always decided not to do. Because there are so many good things I deeply appreciate, I want to share and highly recommends to anyone, but, I couldn’t find time to write all those wonderful things. I kept delaying writing the review. And now today is the time since I realized that I do not have to make my review long. If you can afford, I recommend to get it and explore it. I typically use it for my handwriting so it is not easy to search the content later. So, I simply use it for capturing the quick notes and insights. One improvement I can point out: when scanning large amount of pages, it randomly crashes. Then, I had to re-scan quite a number of pages again.

Great for Digital Planning

This app puts goodnotes to shame! So many features, some I didn’t even know I needed but now can’t live without. I use it for digital planning and school notes, it’s a best in class app for both purposes.

Interesting App

Adds a new dimension to e-journaling with 3d page turning and Dutch doors. Love the ability to import your task list and calendar. I wish had this app in college and graduate school. It’s potential for notes, and adding images, links to resources, and creating sketches is amazing. Especially as the world moves away from printed materials to electronic versions. No more lugging heavy books around or keeping tiny reference books in your pockets. There are many layers as this program continually evolves. The developer is available to answer questions and make changes requested by the users. It is a stiff learning curve initially, although worth it.

Great Program

I love how much control I have with Zoom Notes to make my planner exactly what I need it to be. The calendar and task integration is fabulous. I have been looking for a way to have a digital planner without having to enter appointments and tasks twice. ZoomNotes does it!!!

Fantastic all around with glitches

I’ve used this app for about a year and a half and I love it! I am a college student studying engineering and the numerous tools help with all of my needs. Note taking with a customized pen/ highlighter set that's easily accessible for color coding and clear notes. I do a lot of calculations and mark up PDFs and I am amazed with all I can do. I can import and export PDFs and other file types seamlessly with all of their options. The split screen is helpful to have my reference book or code on one panel and my calculations on the other and search through both of them. The interface to me doesn’t take long to get used to as I use a lot of different programs on the regular. Also this app has great app privacy. Cons are the pen lags and it skips on the paper or draws random lines sometimes. That is the biggest issue. Update: It also glitches and pages of notes disappear with the backing up they get overwritten. I cannot use the symbols tool which was very helpful and no help from customer service.

Echo: great app, serious learning curve

Amazing app. Every option available to customize everything

I'm still learning but love it so far!

There is a learning curve but love all of its features. I am a paper planner kinda girl but have recently switched to digital planning. Love how I can put my calendar events on my planner directly from my Apple calendar. There is so much that can be done and more features are always being added.

Tried quite a few…this is the best!!!

It is worth the time and effort to LEARN this app…I equate it to quick and easy photo editing vs learning photoshop or illustrator…yes there’s a learning curve but the end result is having dozens more features at your disposal!!

Loving ZN but excited for its future <3

I am so thankful to the Almighty Algorithm Gods on YouTube… it showed me the channel Paperless X which inevitably lead me to the very esteemed spot I am today… sitting pretty with Zoomnotes version 8.8.27 <3! Now, every time I’m on YouTube and I get suggested silly videos for childish apps like ‘Goodnotes’ and ‘Notability,’ I scoff and open Zoomnotes with a smile on my face. It is everything that we are led to believe ‘Goodnotes’ and ‘Notability’ would like to be. They might have some name recognition yes.. but Zoomnotes actually provides everything that those apps promise to be and MORE. I am so proud to support an app that I know will one day will outshine the likes of other ‘normal’ ‘note-taking’ apps like the aforementioned. It is the most comprehensive, capable, beautiful, work of love that I will scream to the skies about until it is #1 and I am back to the mud… #EdNumber1FanClub #ZoomNotes4Ever ❕💟💖

Excellent

This is a complete handwriting app, it does as described. As the name says, it has a lot of zoom. It works perfect with the Apple Pencil, very responsive and smooth hand writing and cero crashes. It gets updates often to correct bugs, which is great. Has lots of note books to choose, different papers and now it has calendars a great addition, it can record, etc. To me this is an excellent app, with sooo many features that are very handy. It also has different rulers for drawing objects. ZoomNotes is getting better and better. I highly recommend this app. If you like to take handwriting notes, this app is a must to have. I still agree that Zoom Notes is one of the best Apps for pencil notes
