When I write note in zoom box, it is lost after I close zoom writing box. This is really kill the app. The money is wasted on this un-functional app. Please fix the basic functionalities before adding new features.

Kinda hard to use with bamboo stylus but that could be due to the iPad Air 2 screen issues. This app is great and is packed with tons of features! Sometimes hard to switch from making notes and scrolling. Thats why I gave it 4 stars

Update: 3 to 4. The developers are amazing with the features theyve created! Im relying on this app more and more. Great features for math lessons. Im still a bit apprehensive when it comes to the app crashing (I avoid using text). I tried the free version and was impressed enough with the ink and the collection of features that I purchased the full version. My purchase won’t be in vane if the developer is able to fix the text box crashes (which are significant and makes the app unusable for my needs).

I like this app. I am a math teacher, and this app offers the diversity I need. I would recommend it. This note app is packed with many features

This app provides lots of features for drawing and writing documents on a small screen. Its the only app that provides decent stylus support on iPhone. It also has good cloud support.

When I started using Pencil 53, I started using ZoomNotes. The latest update removed Pencil 53 apk, (bad form). But the worst problem was when I uninstalled and reinstalled, in a futile effort to fix the problem, all of the files for my teaching, (over 20 different files) were also deleted. I had backed them up, but to reload will a tremendous amount of time. Many alternative apps retain files and are simpler and easier to use.

A problem in the last 2 updates when zooming more than 5 degrees the picture disappear which is very annoying

I really appreciate the ongoing updates and features that are added to this app. The pencil rendering is really good and something few other PDF markup apps bother to offer. The endless zoom, route options for all added elements to the notes are also good. I do think the UI needs an overhaul - its a little too busy and need a rethink. And its too fiddly to turn pages - REALLY would be great to have endless vertical page scrolling instead for both reading PDFs and making notes. EDIT this seems to be the ONLY PDD markup / notes app that has a one touch screen or text grab allowing instant export of selected section of text or picture. So useful.

When I downloaded this it was free and I just looked at my email and it billed me $6 and its not even a very good app Im sorry but you gotta fix this

The app is great. I use this to take notes for biology. It allows me to import PDF and backup to google drive, which is awesome. But this app is a little inconvenience, when I want to change from a pen to a highlighter or to an eraser. It also a bit inconvenience when I want to turn to the next page. Can you make some of them pin to the bar so it will be a bit easier for me to switch from a pen to an eraser or to a highlighter. Can you create a scroll function so its easier to review or study.

Cant even use this app. I purchased this app a few weeks ago with the intention of using my pencil 53 stylus and at the time I downloaded it I guess they had just updated the app and left out the option for the pencil 53. I emailed them a and was told a updated was pending. About a week later there was a update finally I was excited to finally try this app out. Well that didnt happen. There is now a option to use the pencil 53 but it doesnt work and wont connect my stylus. Again I send a email and they tell me there working on a fix and Im going on two weeks at this point. So after buying this app and about three weeks of issues all I want is my money back.

I have used this app on the iPad mini 2 and I had very few issues. I upgraded to an iPad mini 4 and now half the time the program will not read touch inputs to write notes. It registers all presses on the buttons and interface but when actually taking notes it does not work well. Fix this and I will give it 5 stars

I am a university professor that uses the iPad daily in my courses, and ZoomNotes is the best thing going! It is, hands down, the most feature-rich application for presenting and note taking. I also use ZoomNotes to create screencasts. The interface is beautiful, simple to use, and easy understand. If you dont have it, get it! Youll delete your other note taking apps, just as I did. Read the manual and give yourself time to understand this feature-rich app.

My essential notetaking app for ipad....Period The most feature rich productivity app available on the ipad. In addition to note taking, I use it for PDF annotation because of its unique screen grab utility and the ability to export to Evernote and multiple third party cloud services. I use it all the time. Buy it, you wont regret it!

I want so much to love this app, but every time I try to use it something wont do what I want. Its consistently glitchy, and I lose work frequently. Ive been sending many, many issue emails to the devs. Meanwhile I use GoodNotes - less sophisticated but at least its reliable. The last ZN update crashed so badly I had zero access to my notes for a full two weeks. And ZoomNotes for Mac is unavailable for 10.7 or any Mac OS before os 10.9 ugh. Ex: Current version issues include: File Saving / Restore Issues - Horrid File Management - files save in multiple copies on backup site, adding a 1 to the file name. Try to move a ZoomNotes file into a folder - woops now your Dropbox backup has 3 copies. Which one is the right one? After the last crashing update, Try to restore a file from Dropbox Backup location - woops now there are 4 copies of the file. Have fun sorting out this recurring nonsense. Previous errors I reported (many still a problem) include: - Try to use the fill color on a shape using an eye dropper-selected color -- it returns the color to grey. I can change pen colors using the eye dropper without issue. - Frequent crashes if I edit a text box in the middle of the text using the backspace key (removing carriage returns) - Using zoom box with carriage return, handwriting is displaying oddly in main window area (floating, overlapped, etc.) - There is a new Chevron tool on the left toolbar, but I dont understand what it is or how to use it – I tried tapping and dragging and all sorts of using it, but I still cant figure it out. There is no page in the in-app help document that tells you what the left-hand tools do. - Zoombox issue - even with the setting "keep zoom region visible" ON, still, if I try to use the zoom box on the bottom half of the page, the zoom region gets hidden under the zoom box. The rest of these are functionality requests, but some of them have been requested my many for a long time but still are not implemented: - cannot Manually arrange items in folder, not by name or date, but by drag and drop manual ordering - Theres no notes-to-text function (API) like notes plus - you cant set Zoom box settings by document. For example, if I set my zoom box margins in a whiteboard, the whiteboard zoom box settings change my other documents zoombox margins. - Theres no "find drawing" whiteboard function. For example, while using a 1pt Pen, I did drawings on my whiteboard. Then I accidentally double tapped the whiteboard, and it zoomed out so far I couldnt find the writing anymore. - theres no whiteboard zoom box setting to keep the zoombox relative to the local drawing area visible on the screen. Right now, if I use the whiteboard and zoom box, because of the standard margins, using the carriage return sends the zoom box off into space somewhere. ..

Im a retired computer tech. One of my hobbies is what I call "software gold mining" which is to often search for good programs for my iPhone, iPad and MacBook. Im extremely critical and maybe one in 20-30 programs I look at will be worth a darn. So many will lack necessary features or perform poorly. To get to the point Zoom Notes is "Gold". It is an extraordinary program that has so many useful features even I havent discovered them all yet. It does require a little patience to learn. It sounds excessive, but I just hope the Developers continue to update and keep the program going into the future.

This is my note taking app. It does everything I need and more. There are many features built into this app and it takes a little time to explore but once you get used to it you will find that it can do pretty much anything you would need a note taking app to do. The two unique features that I really like are the notebook templates and the nested pages. I have tried just about every note taking app out there and some have an easier learning curve but I have not found one that has does as much as Zoom notes. It integrates well with Evernote too and if you export your pages as JPEG they become searchable. Thanks for a great app. Update: I recently did a data center inventory and used Zoom Notes to document everything including cable connections and serial numbers by taking pictures , cropping , andthen annotating the pictures. It was such a great way to document everything.

Has all the features I need and more!

Finally an app that has all the features I need & want in a note taking application. Not having to switch back-and-forth between several different applications saves time & frustration. Due to all the features the learning curve is a bit longer then with other apps. However, I was happy to double my learning curve to gain 10 times the amount of functionality. Great App!
